Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 Releasing in Early July
HoYoverse announced that its latest update for free-to-play turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail will release on July 2, 2025. The Version 3.4 update, titled “For the Sun is Set to Die”, will add new story content as Phainon and the Trailblazer potentially ignite the dawn of the Era Nova that may change the destiny of the universe, with Phainon becoming a playable character.
The update will also add a new collaboration with Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]. The collaboration event will run from July 11, 2025, until the end of Version 3.6. It will see Saber and Archer join the game as playable characters, with Archer available for free to all those who login during the event.
Honkai: Star Rail tells its own standalone story in the Honkai universe and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The setting features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. Players embark on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets.
