Clockwork Revolution Gets Five-Minute Showcase

Developer inXile Entertainment released a lengthy new showcase video for its upcoming title Clockwork Revolution. The five-minute video introduces the game’s setting of the steam-powered metropolis of Avalon where technology has allowed it to develop overhead steam trains, clockwork artificial limbs, and mechanical servants. The video highlights many of its story and first-person gameplay elements, including its focus on time-travel and rewriting the past.

Clockwork Revolution sees players fighting back against the control of Lady Ironwood, who has used a secret time-travel device to change key parts of Avalon’s history. Players take on the role of customisable player character Morgan Vanette, a member of the Rotten Row Hooligans gang, and are able to use the Chronometer to travel back in time and influence the past themselves. Those choices will change the future Avalon in major ways. Clockwork Revolution is being developed for PC and Xbox Series X|S, though does not currently have a release window.
