VIractal: World of Viractalia Demo Released

Japanese developer has released a demo for its upcoming board game-style RPG VIractal: World of Viractalia. The demo is available through Steam and includes a demo-specific map and limited deckbuilding features. It is available in Japanese and English with single-player only, but the full version is also planned to support Chinese and Korean as well as online co-op. The game is planned to release on Steam Early Access, but a date has not been announced.

VIractal sees players controlling heroes journeying through the miniature world of Viractalia. Players build up their own deck of cards to use in the game’s turn-based combat. Players roll dice to determine their movement, with unneeded movement points able to be saved up for future use in events and combat. During events, players can make decisions that may lead to gaining powerful abilities or changing the course of the adventure.
