Neverness to Everness Closed Beta Announced

Perfect World subsidiary Hotta Studio announced that it will be running a closed beta test for free-to-play RPG Neverness to Everness. The beta will be available on PC and support English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options. Sign-ups for the beta are available now through the game’s official website.

Neverness to Everness is set in a world where humanity exists alongside supernatural anomalies. Players use characters’ powerful Esper abilities to navigate and tackle unexpected anomalies. The game’s combat utilises a system called the Esper Cycle. Players use skills and combos to attack enemies and infuse them with that character’s specific attributes. When two adjacent attributes combine, it causes a synergy that unlocks new options.

In addition to exploration and combat, players can also modify sports cars, manage businesses, and more. The game includes a day-night cycle with dynamic weather that can impact vehicle handling, with players also able to traverse the city using their character’s Esper abilities. The game is planned to release for PC, mobile platforms, and unspecified consoles.
