Darkest Dungeon II Gets Physical Anniversary Edition Release

Red Hook Studios and Skybound Games announced a physical release for Darkest Dungeon II. Announced to mark the second anniversary of the game’s PC release, the Anniversary Edition is available to pre-order now for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch through Amazon.com. It is priced at $99.99, with shipping expected in Q4 2025, and includes:

• Physical disc/cart copy of Darkest Dungeon II
• SteelBook case
• Combat pop-up diorama
• Papercraft stagecoach
• Deck of playing cards
• Original soundtrack and Kingdoms soundtrack download codes
• Binding Blade, Inhuman Bondage, and Infernal Supporter Pack DLC download codes

A follow-up to 2016 turn-based roguelike Darkest Dungeon, Darkest Dungeon II released for PC in 2023 with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions following in 2024. The game sees players tasked with guiding a stagecoach expedition across a decaying landscape to try and avert the apocalypse. It features a refined version of the previous game’s combat with a new Token System. Each failed run grants resources that can be used on upgrades for future attempts.
