Twin Sails Interactive Goes Independent, New Release Platforms Announced

Publisher Twin Sails Interactive announced that it is going independent from parent company Asmodee Group following a management buyout. The publisher’s structure will remain as is, with its leadership team remaining in place. Twin Sails Interactive was founded in 2016 and formerly known as Asmodee Digital, acting as a video game division of Asmodee, which focuses primarily on tabletop games.

In addition, the publisher announced new platforms for a pair of RPGs. Firstly, Lazy Bear Games and Different Sense Games’s turn-based RPG Bloomtown: A Different Story will be coming to iOS and Android in Q2 2025. The game, which launched for PC and consoles in 2024, is set in a world inspired by 1960s Americana that hides the demon world growing beneath it. Players control Emily and her friends as they investigate when children start disappearing and face off against otherworldly creatures that embody Bloomtown’s citizens’ vices and fears.

Secondly, Doom Turtle’s co-op action roguelite Ember Knights will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in spring 2025. The game, which released for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2023, sees players control the eponymous knights as they try to defeat the mad sorcerer Praxis, who is spreading corruption across the Prime Worlds after siphoning life out of the Ember Tree.
