Another Crab’s Treasure Update Celebrates Year of the Crab

Developer Aggro Crab announced a new update for action RPG Another Crab’s Treasure. The free “Year of the Crab” update will release for PC on April 21, 2025. It will add a New Game Plus mode that features remixed enemy encounters, further upgrade options, additional stowaway slots, and new exclusive Sigil stowaways. It will also include an option to refight previous bosses, a boss rush mode, new costumes, a bestiary, and a new boss fight.

In addition to the update, Aggro Crab revealed that it is partnering with iam8bit to release a physical edition of the game. The physical edition will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch later this year. More details will be revealed at a later date.

Another Crab’s Treasure released for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch in April 2024. The game is a Soulslike adventure putting players in the role of Kril the hermit crab. Kril embarks on a quest to buy back his repossessed shell, in the meantime having to wear whatever he can find around him for protection.
