Warriors: Abyss Update Adds Atelier Characters

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force has released a new update for hack-and-slash roguelite Warriors: Abyss. The free update adds a trio of heroines from the recent Atelier titles: Ryza, Sophie, and Yumia as new heroes to the game. Each of the three characters comes with abilities that enhance the others’ skills and appearance rates. There are two additional DLC packs available to purchase that add new costumes for the three characters. The update also includes a selection of other improvements, adjustments, and bug fixes, with the full details available here.

Warriors: Abyss is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. It is a spin-off to the wider Warriors franchise featuring characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. Players control a chosen hero while recruiting other heroes they encounter along their adventure through a randomly generated hell. They battle through waves of enemies as they attempt to reach and defeat the arch-villain Gouma. During the journey, they will find new characters and items to strengthen their team, utilising Summoning Heroes and Unique Tactics with up to seven active heroes in battle from a total pool of over a hundred.
