The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- Gets More Character Trailers

XSEED Games released more English character videos for Too Kyo Games and Media.Vision’s upcoming The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-. The two videos (as well as a selection of screenshots) follow the previous character trailer and introduce eleven more cast members appearing in the game as part of the Special Defense Unit that is tasked with keeping their school safe for a hundred days:

Yugamu Omokage (“Teenage Assassin”) – A young man who has been as assassin for a long time. However, unlike the rest of his assassin family, Yugamu believes that killing should be done with love and enjoys torture, dissection, and more.
Kyoshika Magadori (“Ninja Samurai”) – A young samurai who’s clueless about the modern world and has no educational knowledge. She is very close to her katana, the Holy Jumonji Sword.
Gaku Maruko (“Self-Centered Mood Maker”) – He is always looking out for himself, but is so honest that it makes it hard to hate him. Once he opens his heart to others, he is good at taking care of them.
Tsubasa Kawana (“Star Mechanic”) – A young woman who is bright and knows lots about machines. However, she isn’t good with stress.
Hiruko Shizuhara (“Ice Queen”) – Leader of the Special Defense Unit. She always speaks her mind, even if it means offending others. She’s just as merciless on the battlefield, where she gets a twisted sense of pleasure from tearing invaders apart.
Sirei (Special Defense Unit’s Commanding Officer) – The principal and commanding officer of Last Defense Academy. He is a strange robot that orders the defence force around.

Takemaru Yakushiji (“Gangster with a Heart of Gold”) – An old-school delinquent, but a nice guy on the inside. He is impulsive and straightforward, and has sworn to never use his strength to bully the weak.
Shoma Ginzaki (“Waste of Space”) – A young man who is constantly putting himself down and has negative self-esteem.
Nozomi Kirifuji (“Healer”) – A young student who is identical in appearance to Takumi’s childhood friend Karua. She has a kindhearted nature and dogged determination, but also seems to be hiding something.
Moko Mojiro (“Cheerful and Lively Super Wrestler”) – A young woman quickly gaining popularity in the wrestling scene. She is inspirational and faces challenges head on.
Nigou (Special Defense Unit’s Deputy Commander) – Sirei’s assistant and second in command. Another odd robot, he is completely loyal to Sirei and is caring, but also prone to making mistakes.

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a new title from Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, the creators of the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series respectively, and combines adventure elements with strategy RPG combat. The game sees supposedly unremarkable student Takumi Sumino forced to transfer to the eponymous Last Defense Academy where he must work with fourteen other students to defend the school from unknown enemies called the School Invaders for a period of one hundred days. Between battles players can explore the school and deepen their bonds with classmates, while the story will feature numerous choices for Takumi that can lead to different endings. The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- will release for PC and Nintendo Switch on April 24, 2025.
