Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released in the last week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development. Pricing is shown in US dollars before application of any discounts, local pricing may vary.


Keep Driving

Road trip RPG Keep Driving follows the player as they embark on a road trip to a festival. Set in the early 2000s, it sees players setting out in their first car, making their way across a procedurally generated pixel art world. Each road-trip is designed to take one-to-four hours to complete, with multiple endings and numerous different paths available to take.

Medieval action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II picks up directly after the events of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, continuing the story of blacksmith’s son Henry. It includes two new open-world maps double the size of the previous game, taking players to historic locations such as Trosky Castle and the mining town of Kuttenberg.


Momodora: Moonlit Farewell

Set five years after the events of Momodora III, side-scrolling action RPG Momodora: Moonlit Farewell follows the village of Koho’s High Priestess Momo as she sets out on a mission to save her people from demon hordes that have been summoned by a bellringer. Combat focuses on creating melee combos, avoiding attacks, and firing arrows at enemies, with players able to freely adjust the game’s difficulty and use Sigils to customise their play style.


Rift of the NecroDancer

A new title from the studio behind Crypt of the NecroDancer and Cadence of Hyrule, Rift of the NecroDancer sees returning protagonist Cadence dragged into a strange new world where she must battle monsters emerging from the Rhythm Rift. The game features a new type of music-based combat with four difficulty levels and over thirty tracks available at launch. A Nintendo Switch is planned to release at a later date. Rogue Waters

Tactical roguelite Rogue Waters takes place in a pirate world overtaken by a terrible curse. It puts players in the role of a pirate captain, letting them recruit and lead their own crew of rogues to grow into fierce pirates. The game features strategic shipdeck combat as well as naval battles, with players able to summon mythical creatures (such as the Kraken) they previously befriended. Each new recruit comes with a randomized skill tree and the game’s world shifts procedurally with each run. A Nintendo Switch version is also planned for a later date.


Starlight Legacy

16-bit-style turn-based RPG Starlight Legacy is set in Evaria Kingdom. The kingdom benefited from decades of prosperity and peace thanks to the Eternity Tree, which enriches and purifies the soil, water, and air of the entire kingdom. This eventually comes to an end after the destruction of the Eternity Tree, following unrest due to a ban on the education of magic and a subsequent separatist movement to liberate one of the kingdom’s provinces.


Sugoro Quest: Dice Heroes

Board game-style turn-based RPG Sugoro Quest: Dice Heroes originally released for Famicom in Japan in 1991, with Virtual Console versions released on Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and 3DS. The game takes place in the kingdom of Siland, where four heroes seek out adventure. Players select which hero to take on the adventure they are given, with each hero having different abilities. The international release includes a save state function, screen filters, a gallery, and cheat options.
