Enshrouded Gets 2025 Roadmap, Full Release Window

Keen Games marked the first anniversary of co-op survival RPG Enshroudeds Early Access release with multiple announcements for the game. The developer released the game’s fifth major Early Access update, as well as announcing a 2025 roadmap and a spring 2026 full release window.

The fifth update, Pact of the Flame, includes game text chat in multiplayer sessions, voice chat, a new social menu, emotes, a first-person camera when building, new items, two new building materials, new quests that reward more vanity items, and more. The full changelog is available here.

For the 2025 roadmap, Keen Games revealed that some of the planned content includes an event system using portals, base raids on separate islands, more weather events, teleportation to other servers, sharing worlds and builds with the community, a new biome centering on dynamic water, and more. Features being added are influenced by the game’s entry on the Feature Upvote platform.

Enshrouded sees players awaken in the open world of Embervale as the “Flameborn”, the last hope of an ancient civilisation whose people have been driven to madness and controlled by the Shroud. The game features single-player as well as co-op for up to sixteen players, including dedicated server options. Keen Games announced that it currently plans to full release the game for PC and unspecified consoles in spring 2026.
