Baldur’s Gate III Patch 7 Available on PC

Larian Studios has released its Patch 7 update for Baldur’s Gate III on PC. The update will also be coming to Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in October.

New additions from Patch 7 begin with new cinematic endings for evil playthroughs, including unique endings for Origin Characters. It also introduces an integrated mod manager tool — letting players browse, install, and use community mods — as well as a revamp for split screen gameplay, new Legendary Actions in Honour Mode, and various other tweaks and fixes. The full patch notes can be found here, including a warning on incompatibilities between the PC and other versions for cross-save and multiplayer while they are different updates.

Baldur’s Gate III features turn-based combat based on the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons ruleset. It takes place over 120 years after the events of Baldur’s Gate II and its story begins with the player character and others captured and forced to host a Mindflayer tadpole before the airship they are on crashes.
