River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Saga Opening Movie Released

Arc System Works released the opening movie to upcoming beat-’em-up title River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next. The game — a sequel to 2021’s River City Saga: Three Kingdoms — puts the cast of the Kunio-kun series into a version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a historical novel set at the end of the Han dynasty in China.

River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next sees Kunio once again taking on the role of Guan Yu, with the game’s event covering six chapters from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the Battle of Red Cliffs. Players can unleash special attacks as well as utilise ten different tactics while gaining experience and powering up their characters. River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next will release worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024.
