Dragon Age: The Veilguard Launching End of October

Electronic Arts and BioWare announced that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will release on October 31, 2024. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with digital editions available to pre-order now. In addition to the Standard Edition ($59.99 on PC, $69.99 on consoles), a Deluxe Edition ($79.99 on PC, $89.99 on consoles) includes a selection of weapon and armour appearance options for protagonist Rook and their companions. In addition, a selection of physical items — dubbed “Rook’s Coffer” — is available to pre-order from BioWare’s online store for $150 (game not included).

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will take players across numerous regions of the world of Thedas, including Rivain, Weisshaupt, Arlathan, Minrathous, and the Deep Roads. Players control a new protagonist named Rook, who must fight back after corrupt Elven gods break free and wreak havoc upon the world. They will be joined by seven companions: Harding the Scout, Neve the Detective, Lucanis the Mage Killer, Bellara the Veil Jumper, Emmrich the Necromancer, Darvin the Warden, and Taash the Dragon Hunter.
