Latest Dragon Age Title Renamed Dragon Age: The Veilguard

EA and BioWare announced that the latest entry in the Dragon Age series, previously known as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, has been renamed Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Executive Producer Gary McKay stated that the change in title is intended to focus on the game’s protagonists rather than the game’s likely primary foe.

Along with the name change, BioWare confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be a single-player title and, like previous titles in the series, will feature its own protagonist. They will be joined by seven companion characters, while the character known as the Dread Wolf who originally appeared in Dragon Age: Inquisition will still play an important role. The first gameplay reveal is planned for next week on June 11, 2024, at 8am PST on the Dragon Age YouTube channel.
