My Time at Sandrock Gets Multiplayer Update

PM Studios and Pathea Games released a multiplayer update for life sim RPG My Time at Sandrock. This update is currently available for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 platforms planned to receive it in summer. The companies also announced the game is now available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

The multiplayer update allows Xbox Series X|S and PC players to take part in a co-op sandbox mode, which supports up to four players. Although separate from the story campaign, this sandbox mode features most of the same activities, which include building, fighting, dating, festivals, and more. The details pertaining to the multiplayer update can be found here.

My Time at Sandrock is the follow-up to Pathea Games’ My Time at Portia and released in November 2023. Players take on the role of a builder in the frontier town of Sandrock as they explore the desert, build a custom home, and take down enemies in real-time combat. My Time at Sandrock is currently available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as more as gameplay. Now, I am, writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
