Publisher Playism has announced a new update for Bombservice’s Momodora: Moonlit Farewell. This update, available since March 15, 2024, adds the following:
– A new boss battle, available after clearing the game, that can be fought by talking to Dora at Koho Village.
– A new Boss Rush Mode, involving every boss encountered in the game, accessible by speaking to a magi called Patata at the Last Layer.
– A new dialog scene expanding on character Dora viewable at Meikan Village at any point of the game.

Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is set five years after the events of Momodora III. The game follows the village of Koho’s High Priestess Momo as she sets out on a mission to save her people from demon hordes that have been summoned by a bellringer. Combat focuses on creating melee combos, avoiding attacks, and firing arrows at enemies, with players able to freely adjust the game’s difficulty and use Sigils to customise their play style. Momodora: Moonlit Farewell is currently available for PC (via Steam) at a discounted price of 15% off as part of the Steam Spring Sale that is planned to last until March 22, 2024.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPG. At the time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as more as gameplay. Now, I am, writing about them, especially my favorite ones, the JRPG!
