Be the Ruler Announced

Developer and publisher BeardedBrothers.Games announced Be the Ruler. Taking inspiration from strategy games made by Paradox Interactive, the title is currently in development for PC with a release date planned in 2025.

In Be the Ruler: Britannia, players take on the role of Alfred King of Wessex, who aims to unify and defend a medieval England torn by war. The game’s story blends historical events and fiction, changing depending on the decisions made by the protagonist. The gameplay combines isometric RPG with grand strategy game. Be the Ruler intends to offer a unique experience during each playthrough thanks to its procedurally-generated events and battles.
