Dragon’s Dogma 2 Gets Trailer and More Details

Capcom revealed a new trailer for Dragon’s Dogma 2 during the latest Sony State of Play presentation. The two-minute-long video showcases battle scenes and introduces the Warfarer, the Dragonsplague, and the Vocation Maisters.

The Warfarer, a Vocation exclusive to the Arisen, can use every weapon and learn different skills from every Vocation at the expense of lower base stats. The Dragonsplague is a contagious illness that affects the Pawns by making them stronger while altering their speech and behavior. However, it is rumored this disease’s terminal stage brings a devastating calamity. Finally, Vocation Maisters are individuals from which the Arisen can gain access to new Vocations or learn skills of the highest order, the “maister’s teachings”.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 takes place in a parallel world to the original Dragon’s Dogma and Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. It tells a new tale of the Arisen, a champion whose heart has been stolen by the Dragon. Players are joined by three NPCs Pawn allies; the first of these is customized by the player, while the other two Pawns are recruited from other players and make use of the abilities and knowledge gained during their other travels. Dragon’s Dogma 2 will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 22, 2024.
