SKALD: Against the Black Priory Launching in Spring
Publisher Raw Fury and developer High North Studios (previously known as Scape-IT) announced a spring 2024 release window for SKALD: Against the Black Priory. The retro-styled cRPG will be available for PC and Mac via Steam and GOG.com. A demo is currently available on both storefronts, though does not include some of the latest features shown in its latest trailer, viewable below.
SKALD: Against the Black Priory is inspired by grimdark fantasy and Lovecraftian horror. Players create their main character and recruit a party of adventurers from among a dozen classes, exploring the expanse of Freymark and the Outer Isles. The game features turn-based combat on gridded battlefields and includes customisable difficulty and feedback settings as well as an auto-resolve option for combat.
