The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak Japanese Switch Date Announced

The Nintendo Switch version of Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak has received a Japanese release date. The game will arrive on Switch in Japan on February 15, 2024, with a release in Asia to follow in March. The latest installment of the popular turn-based RPG series debuted on PlayStation 4 in 2021 before finding its way to PlayStation 5 and PC in subsequent years. The Switch version features optimized quality of life elements and controls, as well as all currently available DLC.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak begins a new story arc a year after the events of Trails into Reverie. It is set in the Republic of Calvard and stars Van Arkride, a mecernary based out of the Old Town district of Calvard’s capital city Edith. He is hired by Aramis High School student Agnes Claudel to track down her great-grandfather’s lost memento. The game features a new turn-based / real-time hybrid combat system for players to develop new strategies. Trails through Daybreak is scheduled to launch in the West courtesy of NIS America on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Summer, 2024.
