King Arthur: Knight’s Tale Expansion Announced

Developer NeocoreGames announced an expansion for tactical RPG King Arthur: Knight’s Tale. The Legion IX expansion sees the kingdom of Avalon facing a new threat as the Roman Ninth Legion finds its way to the island and prepares an invasion. It offers a new campaign as players take on the role of a tribune in the Ninth Legion, uncovering the remains of a Roman colony and the secrets of the Lady of the Lake. Legion IX is planned to release for PC in early 2024 and will be priced at $19.99.

King Arthur: Knight’s Tale originally released for PC in 2022, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases set for February 22, 2024. The game is a re-telling of the classic legend where players take control of Sir Mordred, King Arthur’s nemesis. Sir Mordred is tasked with killing a twisted version of King Arthur that has returned from the dead to haunt the lands. Players recruit their own Knights of the Round Table and engage in tactical turn-based combat in both a lengthy story campaign and local competitive multiplayer.
