Button City Soccer Days Console Release Confirmed

Developer Subliminal Games announced that Button City Soccer Days will be released on consoles. In addition to its previously announced PC version, the “cozy soccer action RPG” will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in 2024.

Button City Soccer Days takes place shortly after the events of adventure title Button City. Its story sees its animal cast competing in the new Open Soccer Tournament. Former rivals the Fluff Squad and the Tuff Fluffs team up to try and win the championship, but meet competition in corporate fat cat Peppermint Pepperbottom, who recruits pro players to his team. Players can customise their team, planning out daily activities and participating in arcade soccer matches that include elements such as bad weather, injuries, and red cards. The game will also include free play and local multiplayer modes.
