Atelier Resleriana Announced for PC, Mobile

Koei Tecmo and Akatsuki Games announced they are partnering for a new Atelier title. Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy & the Liberator of Polar Night is planned to release in Japan later this year on PC, iOS, and Android, with pre-registration available on its official website. The game’s development features contributions form Gust, Team Ninja, and Akatsuki Games.

Atelier Resleriana is being written by novelist and manga/anime writer Takahiro (Akame ga Kill!) and being overseen by Atelier series supervisor Shinichi Yoshiike. It is set in the kingdom of Lantana, which prospered through alchemy, but its use has died out and been forgotten. The game stars Resna, a fledgling alchemist who dreams of reviving it in the world. Other characters are Isana, a beast-eared girl with a blacksmith father who dreams of being a knight; Roman, a jovial but mysterious adventurer; and Saskia, Resna’s teacher, who is strict when teaching but untidy in private.
