Space Cats Tactics Launching on Steam This Month
Mitzi Games announced that its tactical space RPG Space Cats Tactics will launch for PC on July 24, 2023. The game will be available through Steam, where a demo is currently available, priced at $14.99/€14.79.
Space Cats Tactics follows Captain Mitzi, member of a hybrid humanoid cat species created to serve as mankind’s slave warriors. After turned against their masters to earn their freedom, the cat species is still despised and feared but makes for fine spaceship pilots. Captain Mitzi is hired to smuggle a ship called the Curiosity to a remote corner of the galaxy, finding themselves hunted by the government as the stakes of the mission turns out to be more than bargained for.
Space Cats Tactics features a mixture of turn-based tactical combat and in-ship crew management. Players can customise their ship by purchasing and upgrading rooms. Combat features an action point system and grid-based battlefields, with the crew members assigned to various roles having abilities that can play an important role in various tactical situations.
