Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Trailer Gives a Choice Example

Owlcat Games released a new trailer for its upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The “Freedom of Choice Showcase” gives an example of how player choices can drastically alter quests in the game, showing a quest surrounding the funeral for an important figure. The release of the video comes along with the release of the game’s beta, which is available to all those who have pre-purchased the game and grants access to the prologue and the first three chapters.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader sees players leading a ship of personnel as they explore the dangerous Koronus Expanse, making decisions that will have ripple effects throughout the universe. Unlike Owlcat’s previous Pathfinder games, Rogue Trader will only have turn-based combat. The game is currently in development for PC though a release window has not been announced.
