Tales of Aravorn: An Elven Marriage Begins Kickstarter Campaign

Developer Winter Wolves has begun a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its latest visual novel-RPG hybrid, Tales of Aravorn: An Elven Marriage. The game is a follow-up to Loren the Amazon Princess, taking place several years later, and is the first of four planned spin-off titles delving deeper into its characters.

Tales of Aravorn: An Elven Marriage revolves around the marriage between Lydia, the princess of the moon elves, and High Cleric Marian of Paqwana. While the marriage represents a union between elves and humans, other forces — such as succubus Jul and Death Knight Zeal — aim to undermine the potential alliance.

Players can choose whether to control Elenor or Saren, the returning protagonist from Loren the Amazon Princess, as they guard Lydia on her passage to Triberg, with new and old allies and enemies encountered along the way. Certain romances from Loren the Amazon Princess can be continued — Myrth for Saren or Rei for Elenor — with new romantic options also available. The game features a turn-based combat system, with each party member having nine skills that can be learned and improved.

The Kickstarter campaign has already passed its €6,000 funding goal, with the campaign set to run until July 3, 2023. Those who pledge at least €20 will receive a digital copy of the game as part of their backer rewards. Tales of Aravorn: An Elven Marriage is currently planned to release in 2024 for PC via Itch.io and Steam.
