CD Projekt RED Shares Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Videos

CD Projekt RED released two new videos ahead of the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. The first video offers a introduction to the Black Market location in the expansion’s newly explorable district of Dogtown, presented by Quest Director Paweł Sasko. The second video features an interview that was shown as part of last week’s Xbox Showcase Extended presentation with actor Keanu Reeves, who returns as Johnny Silverhand, and his thoughts on Dogtown and some of the new characters in the expansion.

Phantom Liberty features a spy-thriller tale as protagonist V becomes involved in a mission to save the President of the New United States of America. It sees V’s orbital shuttle getting shot down while over the Dogtown and features multiple new characters, including FIA sleeper agent Solomon Reed, played by Idris Elba. The expansion will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 26, 2023.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in December 2020, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions released in February 2022. It is based on Mike Pondsmith and R. Talsorian Games’ Cyberpunk tabletop RPG and follows V, a player-created character in Night City who is left for dead after a failed heist and who becomes entwined with the legendary figure Johnny Silverhand.
