Marvel’s Midnight Suns PS4, Xbox One Date Announced; Switch Version Cancelled

2K Games and Firaxis Games announced the release date for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The superhero tactical RPG will launch on the consoles on May 11, 2023, alongside the game’s fourth post-launch DLC. The Blood Storm DLC adds Storm as a playable hero as well as new mission in the storyline that spans all four DLC packs. In addition, the companies also announced that the game is no longer planned for release on Nintendo Switch.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns puts players in the role of a character called the Hunter, with players able to select their appearance and powers. They lead a “darker order of heroes” against Lilith, attempting to defeat her before the Darkhold is complete. The game launched for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 2, 2022.
