Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical Opening in August

Humble Games and Summerfall Studios held a livestream event for their upcoming title Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. The event was hosted on Critical Role’s Twitch channel by voice director and cast member Troy Baker, during which the companies announced that the game will launch for PC on August 3, 2023. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam.

In addition, the livestream (which will be made available to view on demand in the coming days) included some insights on the game’s creation from Troy Baker as well as composer Austin Wintory and creative director David Gaider. It also featured some live performances of a few of the game’s songs, a new trailer that can be viewed below and additional cast reveals. The currently-revealed cast is as follows:

Stray Gods takes place in a modern fantasy world where the Greek gods live hidden among the populace. The game follows Grace, who is granted the power of the last Muse. She is able to draw others into musical numbers as she investigates the death of her predecessor. Players build friendships with both mortals and gods, with the game featuring four romanceable characters.
