Wild Hearts Second Post-Launch Update Released

EA, Koei Tecmo, and Omega Force have released the second post-launch content update for action RPG Wild Hearts. The update adds a new Kemono, the wolf-type Grimstalker, which can be found on Natsukoachi Isle. The Grimstalker is able to utilise two elements, flame and water, as it takes aim at hunters with molten rocks and strong waves. It also adds new weapons and a new armor set that are craftable with materials obtained from the Grimstalker.

The companies also announced that the third update is planned for April 6, 2023. The third update will add another Kemono, the fox-type petal-manipulating Murakumo; a new weapon and armor set; a new Spinning Top Karakuri; a Limit Break system; and other enhancements and fixes.

Developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio, Wild Hearts takes place in a world inspired by feudal Japan. Players are tasked with restoring the balance of nature by hunting the Kemono, solo or in teams of up to three. The game released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 17, 2023, and features cross-play across all platforms.
