Miasma Chronicles Launching in May
505 Games announced that The Bearded Ladies’s tactical RPG Miasma Chronicles will release on May 23, 2023. The game will launch digitally for PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $49.99. A physical release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will also follow in Europe on June 9, 2023, and in North America on June 20, 2023.
Miasma Chronicles is set in Kentucky, 140 years after the collapse of the Great Stability that came with the appearance of the Miasma. The game follows the duo of Elvis, a young boy with a mysterious glove, and Diggs, his robot companion. It features real-time exploration before turning to turn-based combat.
Combat offers lots of tense moments and tactical consideration, and rewards stealth and cunning.
A clear hero shot if ever there was one.
Elvis being able to bend the Miasma to his will is certainly most convenient.
