Hunt the Night Gets Pre-Launch Media

DANGEN Entertainment and Moonlight Games have released screenshots and a gameplay trailer for Hunt the Night ahead of its release in a couple of weeks. The six-minute gameplay video shows the pixel-art action RPG’s overworld as well as an early dungeon, the Barkley Sanitarium. It also highlights the game’s combat, which features both melee and ranged weapons, plus exploration and puzzle-solving elements.

Hunt the Night is set in a world that cycles between day and night periods. Humanity freely rules during the day, but the night is ruled by horrid creatures that always wipe out humanity before they reemerge in the next day cycle. Players control Vesper as she travels the land trying to save those who she can while finding a way to banish the night. Hunt the Night will release for PC on April 13, 2023, followed by console releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch at a later date.
