For the King II Gets New Trailer

Curve Games and IronOak Games released a new trailer for the upcoming For the King II. The minute-long “Resistance” trailer shows a few new features included in the follow-up to 2019’s strategy RPG/board game hybrid For The King, including landboats, mercenaries, and pets. For the King II is in development for PC and is planned to release in 2023 with both single-player and four-player online co-op modes

For The King II takes players to the land of Fahrul, where they attempt to defeat its tyrannical Queen. Players select a party from a variety of classes before venturing through the procedurally-generated world, which has hex-based maps but grid-based combat. The more players play, the more items they can unlock for future playthroughs.
