Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai – A Hero’s Bonds Ending Service in April

Square Enix announced that mobile title Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai – A Hero’s Bonds will end service at 8pm PDT on April 26, 2023. Sales of the in-game Red Gems, Item Packs, and Gold Pass have been suspended, with the deactivation of automatic Gold Pass renewals currently underway (players can also disable this manually). There are multiple planned content updates before the end of service, including the final chapters of Dragon Tracks and the Bonding Journey, a Treasure Hunt, and more.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai – A Hero’s Bonds released for iOS and Android in 2021. It is based on the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai spin-off manga series that ran in Japan between 1989 and 1996 and received animated adaptations in 1991 and 2020. The game includes the original story as well as a new adventure, uses a real-time combat system with a three-lane battlefield, and features co-op for up to three players.
