The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Gets Pair of Japanese Demos

Nihon Falcom has released two Japanese demos for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -Crimson Sin-. The “Battle Demo” allows players to explore some of the Märchen Garten side dungeon with two different parties, while the “Story Demo” lets players go through the main game’s prologue. Progress from the Story Demo can be carried over to the full game.

Kuro no Kiseki II released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan in September 2022. It is the second game in the wider Trails/Kiseki series’ Calvard arc, with more details on how the series arcs link together available in RPGamer’s Where to Start? guide. The game includes the same combat system from the previous game, where players can choose between real-time or turn-based combat, as well as its Law, Gray, and Chaos alignment system.
