I posted this two episodes ago, and it either got overlooked or I just posted it really late, so I’ll paste it here for convenience:
As you may already be aware, the long sought-after pilot for the Toon Makers version of Sailor Moon has been found. In short, before the original anime was dubbed into English, a hybrid live-action and western animation show was being considered. People have been trying to find it for years until recently.
In any case, I have something of a shine for lost media. Are there any pieces of video game lost media (doesn’t have to be an RPG, but bonus points if it is) that you are interested in? Maybe you’ve done extensive research into Ura Zelda or are curious about Fire Emblem: Maiden of Darkness, which would have been released on the N64 DD until it was ultimately scrapped and reworked into the first GBA Fire Emblem.
Square Enix released two games the day before this question was posted (the third Voice of Cards and the Switch port of Various Daylife), and they have ten games coming out before the end of the year across all platforms. Are they putting too much into the wild in a short time, or is there enough genre variety that it’s not really an issue?
(The games are Diofield Chronicle, Valkyrie Elysium, Nier Automata Switch, new Star Ocean, Harvestella, Tactics Ogre Reborn, Valkyrie Profile remaster, SaGa Minstrel Song remaster, Dragon Quest Treasures, and Crisis Core Reunion.)
