Dragon Quest Treasures Gets Gameplay Overview Trailer

Square Enix released a new trailer for the upcoming Dragon Quest spin-off Dragon Quest Treasures. The four-minute overview video gives a quick introduction to the game’s premise, before showcasing its gameplay elements as players team up with monsters to find treasure on the land of Draconia.

Dragon Quest Treasures was originally teased as a new Dragon Quest Monsters game in 2018. The game follows siblings Erik and Mia — younger versions of the characters from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age — who seek to obtain the seven Dragonstones from the floating continent of Draconia. The treasure-hunting RPG will release worldwide for Nintendo Switch on December 9, 2022.
