Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Releasing This Month

CD Projekt RED, Netflix, and Studio Trigger have announced that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will premiere on September 13, 2022. The animated series is set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 and consists of ten episodes, which will all be available to watch on that date. To go with the announcement, the companies released a new (not safe for work) trailer.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners follows David Martinez, a street kid trying to survive in the future city. Following a certain personal event, David choose to become an outlaw mercenary edgerunner. The series is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) and features character designs from Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia, BNA: Brand New Animal) as well as music from Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill).
