Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure Early Access Date Announced

Snowcastle Games announced that its Earthlock spin-off crafting adventure title, Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, will be available on Steam Early Access on August 18, 2022. The initial release is said to include initial implementations of most of the game’s features in single player, with multiplayer and other content to be added through later updates. A full release is currently planned for 2023, with the game also in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is inspired by Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. Players are put on a deserted island and tasked with exploring, gathering resources, and befriending wildlife while building up their own customisable hamlet. The island features different biomes to explore, including ancient ruins and pirate camps. In addition to Ikonei Island, Snowcastle Games is also continuing to work on Earthlock 2, its direct sequel to the first Earthlock game.
