Cloudpunk Getting PS5 Version in August

Publisher Merge Games and developer Ion Lands have announced a dedicated PlayStation 5 version for Cloudpunk. The PlayStation 5 version will release digitally on August 19, 2022. It will include 4k resolution support at 60 fps and various graphical enhancements, as well as DualSense features including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers and the addition of cockpit mode (previously exclusive to the PC version). The PlayStation 5 version will be available as a free upgrade for those who own the game’s PlayStation 4 version, and will also receive a retail release on August 26, 2022.

Cloudpunk takes place in the city of Nivalis, which is home to androids, AIs, and humans. Players control a character named Raina on her first night working for the eponymous delivery company Cloudpunk. Raina undertakes dangerous delivery jobs and explores the vertical city on foot and by hovercar. The game originally released for PC in 2020, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions released later that year.
