Dragon’s Dogma II Revealed

Capcom posted a new video message to mark the tenth anniversary of action RPG Dragon’s Dogma. The twelve minute video, presented by Director Hideaki Itsuno, looks back at the game’s development and some of its noteworthy features. It ended, however, with the reveal that Dragon’s Dogma II is in development.

The game will use Capcom’s internal RE Engine, while Hideaki Itsuno will be returning as Director, with Daigo Ikeno and Kenichi Suzuki returning as Art Director and Project Lead respectively. No further details are known about Dragon’s Dogma II at this stage, including platforms or a release window. Dragon’s Dogma is an open-world fantasy action RPG where players are joined by three AI-controlled pawns with combat that allows players to grab onto large enemies. It later received an expanded version titled Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.
