More The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Characters Revealed

Nihon Falcom provided more details for its upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -Crimson Sin-. The update details four more important characters appearing in the game.

The first character is Celis Ortesia. She is Dominion No. 4 of the Gralsritter, an order within the Septian Church tasked with investigating and retrieving powerful artifacts. Wielding a giant sword, Celis is aggressive in combat and more than happy to get into quarrels. Acting as her current partner in Calvard is Rion Balthazar, Dominion No. 11 of the Gralsritter. He is much more eloquent and uses a rapier in battle.

Also appearing in the game is Altera. She is a red, fairy-type Hollow, similar to protagonist Van’s AI companion Mare. Like Mare, she appears to be acting autonomously and looks down on humanity. She is connected to a mysterious man wearing a black coat and hat. Like Van, he is able to transform into a powered-up beast-like form called Grendel, with his form known as Grendel-Zolga.

Kuro no Kiseki II is the second game in the wider Trails/Kiseki series’ Calvard arc, with more details on how the series arcs link together available in RPGamer’s Where to Start? guide. The game will include the same combat system from the previous game, where players can choose between real-time or turn-based combat, as well its as Law, Gray, and Chaos alignment system. Kuro no Kiseki II will release in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in fall 2022.
