Highrisers Released on Steam

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Solar Powered Games have released crafting-focused survival RPG Highrisers. The game is available for PC via Steam, priced at $13.99/€13.99/£10.99 with a 15% launch discount available until July 22, 2021.

Highrisers sees players attempting to lead their survivors to gather supplies, craft gear, and eventually repair the helicopter that can take them to safety. The four survivors are trapped in the building as a mysterious condition turns humanity into Dreamers, creatures that shun the light but come out at night to attack those who resist the spread. Highrisers is heavily crafting-focused, with each character having their own unique skill tree unlocking new perks, recipes, and interactions, and each campaign features randomly generated layouts to encourage multiple playthroughs.
