Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Launching in June

Sega announced that MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will launch worldwide in June 2021. The game will be available in the west for Xbox One and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. In Japan the game will be available for PC and PlayStation 4, along with a Nintendo Switch cloud version. A character creator benchmark will be released in late May 2021 for PC internationally. The full hour-long presentation announcing the release window and showcasing some of the game’s content can be viewed below.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is a new game that will run alongside Phantasy Star Online 2, with both games being free-to-play MMORPGs. A global beta will run for Windows 10 from 6pm Pacific/9pm Eastern on May 14, 2021, to 7pm Pacific/10pm Eastern on May 16, 2021, with sign-ups available now.
