Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Global Closed Beta Set for May

Sega has announced the dates for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis‘ first global closed beta test. The beta will run for Windows 10 from 6pm Pacific/9pm Eastern on May 14, 2021, to 7pm Pacific/10pm Eastern on May 16, 2021. Those interested in participating will be able to sign up through the Xbox Insider Hub from 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern on April 21, 2021.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is a new game that will run alongside Phantasy Star Online 2, with both games being free-to-play MMORPGs. It is currently planned for release in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows 10 internationally, and for PC and PlayStation 4 in Japan. Japan will also receive cloud versions for Nintendo Switch and PC.
