Acquire Announces Labyrinth of Zangetsu

Japanese publisher Acquire has announced Labyrinth of Zangetsu, a dungeon-crawler being developed by studio KaeruPanda. According to Famitsu, the game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch and is set to launch in Japan sometime this summer.

Labyrinth of Zangetsu is heavily themed on Japanese culture, including an ink painting graphical style and audio inspired by gagaku music and noh drama. The game is set in Ido, “the city of the morning moon”, in the nation of Tokinokuni. Its forces fight a constant battle against a calamity called the Ink of Destruction, which causes living beings to go mad or become demons.
