The DX versions will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch and will come with the “majority” of the DLC released for each game. The companies announced three special physical edition bundles for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch: Surge Concerto DX Agent Pack Code: Silver (¥19,250 — around $180), Surge Concerto DX Agent Pack Code: Gold (¥27,280 — around $260), and Surge Concerto DX Agent Pack Code: Gold with 7DGate Connection Bundle (¥108,790 — around $1,025).

Grouped together under the moniker Surge Concerto, the games are loosely connected to the Ar tonelico series. Ar nosurge is a sequel to Ciel nosurge but did get released in North America and Europe. Ar nosurge was originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2014, with a Plus version released for PlayStation Vita in 2015 (2014 in Japan).
