Borderlands 3 Next-Gen Versions to Launch Alongside Consoles

2K Games has announced that next-generation console versions of Borderlands 3 will release day-one alongside the respective consoles. The Xbox Series X version will launch on November 10, 2020, with the PlayStation 5 version releasing in North America and Japan on November 12, 2020, and in Europe on November 19, 2020. Those who own the Xbox One version will be able to upgrade to the Xbox Series X version for free, while owners of the PlayStation 4 version will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free. The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions will include three- and four-player split-screen multiplayer, with two-player vertical split-screen multiplayer coming to all versions of the game.

Borderlands 3 was originally released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in September 2019. Four campaign DLCs have been released: Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot; Guns, Love and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock; Bounty of Blood; and Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.
