Developer Fatbot Games announced that its dungeon-crawling RPG Vaporum: Lockdown will debut in a couple of weeks. The prequel to Vaporum will launch for PC via Steam,, and the Humble Store on September 15, 2020, “shortly followed” by its Mac and Linux versions. A Nintendo Switch release is planned for later in 2020, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions set for early 2021.

Vaporum: Lockdown features a steampunk setting and follows scientist Ellie Teller as the teleportation project she is working on in a hidden facility in the middle of the ocean goes wrong. The game features grid-based movement with real-time combat, along with a stop-time mode where time only passes while players act.
